Data Policy
RPW data are publicly available 90 days after the downlink on-ground.
Preliminary data [1] are not public but can be accessible on demand (contact the instrument PI).
Credits
The usage of RPW public data is subject to the following rules:
- Data provided are publicly available.
- If used in presentation, please acknowledge Solar Orbiter/RPW Investigation (M. Maksimovic, PI).
- If used in publications, please add in the acknowledgements section the following sentence : Solar Orbiter is a mission of international cooperation between ESA and NASA, operated by ESA. The RPW instrument has been designed and funded by CNES, CNRS, the Paris Observatory, The Swedish National Space Agency, ESA-PRODEX and all the participating institutes.
- Once your publication is accepted online, please inform the PI who needs to maintain an up-to-date RPW science publications list.
- Please read carefully the caveats attached to the data.
- All publications which use RPW data should cite the RPW instrument paper: The Solar Orbiter Radio and Plasma Waves (RPW) instrument, Maksimovic et al., A&A, 2020 (https://doi.org/10.1051/0004-6361/201936214) and the RPW data ESA DOI (https://doi.org/10.57780/esa-3xcjd4w).
